Excellent food , service and atmosphere!

Opentable Diner

I had the Chilean sea bass with Chimichurri; it was exceptional. The ambience was wonderful, but the customer service was outstanding. I had learned that my flight was cancelled while dining at Samatha's; the servers and other staff could not have been more thoughtful and accommodating. I will be certain to come back the next time I'm in Little Rock.

Today we had lunch here for the first time. I ordered the lamb chops and they were cooked to jerky. The best part of my meal was the appetizer. I spent $182 for a meal that was not good. The old fashions were good tho.

The food was delicious! Definitely recommend the Birra Tacos. Our server was very nice, but they kept forgetting about us. The atmosphere was wonderful. Overall, it was a great experience.

Chancy from TX

Came in for dinner while on a business trip. The place has good dining area, and bar seating with a good atmosphere. Good for a business dinner or date. Sat at the bar and ordered a glass of house Merlot, that they poured from a tap. I'd never seen wine from a tap before, and I hope I don't see it again. It was not good, so I sent it back and got a good bourbon from a good selection that they have.

On a recommendation from the bartender, I ordered the salmon. I was advised that the sides are large, and usually meant for two people. Keeping that in mind, I ordered a side of the collard greens. The salmon and the collard greens were a great combination, and both were very good. Bartender did not steer me wrong. Good food, good atmosphere, good service. I would definitely recommend this place, and I'll be back.

Parking: Street parking is limited, but there is a paid parking lot on the corner. It's a QR code scan type of deal.

Our group ate at Samantha's recently. We ordered grilled artichoke, which was delicious but expensive for the tiny amount of amount of artichoke that is actually edible. The grouper bites were good and the blackened fish sandwich was also good. The Greek salad was terribly disappointing. I think they forgot to add olive oil to the dressing. It tasted like pure Lemmon juice. I could barely get it down. I thought Greek salad was made with crunchy romaine lettuce... my mistake....someone else ordered the Asian salad. It came with NO dressing. Overall, that salad was disappointing. Service was good. Doubt, I would go again. Too pricey for dispointing food and small portions.

It's say average. Food was good but slow to arrive. Place was very loud and server couldn't hear our order and we couldn't hear each other either. Server was very nice but didn't check back with us and brought the wrong beer. Bathrooms are a long jaunt through several doors and long hall. It was not bad and I would go there again with a smaller group of friends, just wasn't as pleasant an evening as I planned.

Very disappointed, save your money go to longhorns or go spend the same or just a little more at Arthur's. I would say the atmosphere is the best thing about the place but we got stuck in a corner in a 1/2 booth and forgotten about. Food very over priced for the quality.

We were there on August 1 - 6 ladies for a birthday gathering. Had the WORST service any of us have experienced from “Spencer”. He was arrogant and extremely condescending to each of us. First with me when I asked for a Bloody Mary and he scoffed and said “we have signature drinks here and we don’t try hard on that. I asked for one anyway and he smugly said “ let me think … what’s in that …” So rude! I said nevermind just bring me an iced tea.
Then my friend asked for a frozen margarita - he again rudely said” no frozen ! “ Then she said ok I’ll have a beer and a cold glass or mug … Again he rudely spoke “ no cold glasses or mugs here!”
It went downhill from there - he didn’t take away our dirty appetizer plates , didn’t ask if we needed anything and basically set the food down and final checks .
Sadly for us he ruined our night and made a small fortune on gratuity for our table.
On top of this - I contacted the manager the next day to complain - it took 2 weeks for a reply by email and I still have not spoken to him .
Bad management who doesn’t care and a rude Spencer server who should not be in the people business! We mover here from Houston that offers high end restaurants and first class service. This place needs lessons !

Even though food was good it was not exceptional and the bad service made the evening a big disappointment for all of us senselessly. Will not be back

Fine establishment, superb experience.

I went with a few coworkers and we shared the fried groupers bites and fried okra to start. Both were prepared to perfection.

I ordered the salmon with family sides of mash potatoes and cucumber salad.

Fish is flown in. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back.
