I love the sausage and cheese kolache. The breading is just so soft and buttery and it's my go-to. My favorite donut at other places is always an apple fritter but for some reason all the Shipley's basically burn the flavor out of the apple fritter. It almost seems like toast by the time they're done with it. If they would cook that donut for a little shorter time period they would be a five-star in my book!
Great variety of filled doughnuts, long johns, cinimon rolls, apple friters and regular glazed (hot early). Breakfast here, with crescent, biscuit, or burrito style breakfast sandwiches.(Very good)

Okay I'm a Krispy Kreme fan die hard Krispy Kreme fan I went to the Hurtz downtown to see what the big fuss was about I was disappointed the donuts were hard thought I was eating bagels but Shipley's on Cantrell this morning I was delivering food or picking up an order and I decided to get one for myself and I tell you boy almost cried it was so delicious. The white Icing with the sprinkles I'm headed back up there to get more now ?
