It was just ok. The rolls were tasty but the hibachi dinner was awful. The rice was not fresh. It tasted like a microwave dinner from the freezer section of a grocery store. The waitress was pleasant and friendly. The restaurant is quaint and clean with the exception of the dust and dead bugs in the window.

The best sushi spot in West Little Rock. I love coming here for lunch as the bento box provides everything you could want. The ginger dressing on the salad tastes fresh and is perfectly balanced.

This place has always been great…not so much today, and not my previous experiences. Also tried calling several times to let them know, but no one answered.

So the sushi was fire! Really good! However, we ordered 2 entrees and ate 3 bites. Basically, the sushi chef knows his stuff. The chef in the kitchen needs to be replaced!The fried rice wasn't fried. Meat was basically non-existent. Tasted like wheat rice. I got a noodle dish, I love Asian noodles. This wasn't it. It seemed to be covered in some tangy hot sauce, not Asian-made. Tasted more like they dumped Frank's red hot all over the dish after it was prepared.The bottom line, is you want Sushi, this place is great. Anything else, run for the hills.The server boxed up the 2 meals that were BARELY touched and offered no compensation. She didn't seem to care that we didn't eat any. Even after I told her they were terrible. Didn't offer to give us something else. Nothing. I basically waited $30 on two dinners I wouldn't feed my dog.

We stopped in to Sushi Cafe West today to get a long awaited sushi fix, as we now live in rural Arkansas, and we were pleasantly surprised at this wonderful this little place. Great food, great service and very reasonably priced too.We both had bento boxes for lunch and everything was so tasty, especially the shrimp tempura….and I even had enough to take home in a to-go box.We will be back next time we are in LR.

This is my second time ordering take out and I love sushi cafe! The food is amazing. I have tried the spicy tuna rolls(spicy how i like it!) I got the chicken wing appetizer once and those were tasty and crunchy. Today I got the lunch teriyaki chicken bento and it did not dissappoint. Such a great bento that includes chicken, fried rice, 2 gyoza, 1spring roll, 1 creamy wonton( it's filled with a sweet creamy purple filling never had something like this but it was delish!) You also get 4 PC spicy salmon roll, 2 veggie tempura (the sauce is perfection) and miso or salad. I went with the miso and it was hot, flavorful and had the perfect amount of green onion, Tofu and nori. 10/10 for Sushi cafe west!
