Good food and good coffee! Two of us went in for Thursday lunch a while ago and they weren’t busy at all. We picked a table and a server greeted us after a few minutes with menus. If you’re going for the Thursday food specials, be sure to call ahead; they weren’t cooking them that day. We ordered shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, and the blueberry cobbler coffee—all very good in taste and portion sizes.
I was on my way to Belk, and I saw the sign for coffee, so I decided to go in. I'm really glad I did! I ordered the shrimp and grits with fried cabbage and green beans. I also ordered a large coffee. Everything was really good except the green beans. They weren't bad, but they could have used more seasoning. The fried cabbage was good, a southern treat, and the shrimp and grits were on point. Enjoyed the best Easter brunch here! Heaven was an amazing host/server/owner. She was attentive and made sure we were well taken care of.The food was excellent! There was a big variety and everything was of the highest quality. I will be thinking of that Mac and cheese for a while.10/10 recommend. Will be back soon!
