I drove about 45 minutes hoping for the full all out Jamaican vibe, however it is a mixed restaurant Soul/Jamaican. I went early and the restaurant was very clean. I had the oxtails with some sides. My sister very much enjoyed her food as well. The food was good and the people were kind. I dont eat soul food primarily because most of it is usually laced in pork or some sort of pork fat etc but I appreciate the fact that they use turkey in their sides. One plate will last me 2...
I came at the end of the day.i had the oxtails and they were delicious and very tender. They didn't give me enough considering how small the oxtails were. I will definitely be back.
It was our first visit & the food was really good. The staff was super sweet, patient & helpful. Plus the music is good. I had ox tails & my daughter has curry chicken. She said it was the bomb ?
