Amazing vegan food made and served with a lot of love from righteous folk. The chicken fried cauliflower was a supreme standout. Like don’t even think about not getting it. The nut based Mac-not-cheese is also not to be missed! Check these folks out for real vegan soul. Run, don’t walk here. Now. Oh, and the yams! How could I forget about the yams. I don’t even like yams and these folks changed my life with yams.

After years, I have to give an honest review. Bad things first, the constant hour changes, inaccessibility of food during the most needed times, and lack of communication. Heavy soul food would be so much better during the evenings instead of work lunch hour, and they used to have evening hours and weekends. I've been with this place since the first location. I always struggled with 1. Getting a hold of this place via phone. 2. Even finding the place open during posted hours on Google. Then they moved to their current location and it finally seemed stable, but today in particular made me angry. So today of all days I didn't pack enough food for breakfast and lunch and wanted something I can eat for both lunch and dinner today. Out of all days, it was to be during the economic blackout. I tried calling twice before to see if they were open like I always do, and whoever just forwarded my calls instead or answering with courtsey. So, I just continued to drive and showed up to see a posted note that said the place was closed because of the blackout. No other communication about this. The point of the blackout was to boycott big name business and retailers but support local businesses..
Now onto the good thing- the food. The food is great, always comforting and of great quality.

The food is always amazing when I go. My favorite thing to get is the chick un spaghetti, mac n cheese, collard greens, and you can not leave without the black eyed peas. Everything that I taste there so far is great. It made my vegan transition very easy.

Friendly owner, wonderful flavors! Big portions too! I don't eat much southern food, so some of the dishes were new to me, and I loved everything I tried!

I was lucky enough to be passing through Little Rock on Christmas Day today and they were open and serving food. Vegan soul food on Christmas sounded awesome to me. This was a one-woman show in the front and her smile and vibe was just really welcoming and sweet. The food was incredible, exactly what you want out of soul food, packed with spices and flavors. You get very generous portions for a fair price and without any fake meats or frozen stuff. So glad these guys are representing vegan food in lil ol’ Little Rock.
