Uncle Johnnie’s BBQ Reviews
This was my first time there, the service was great very pleasant. The atmosphere was great it wasn't busy at all, I went after church. For the food I had the stuff turkey leg it was dry and sausage look like they had cooked them this morning and left them in some type of juice and the greens were very very salty I couldn't eat them, the potato salad was very good, the pound cake was excellent, my husband had the meatloaf plate he said his meat was dry but the potatos were good....read full review
The reason there are different types of BBQ is that there are different types of tastes. I have tried Uncle Johnnie’s BBQ several times. I was greeted when I walked in the door. Service was great.
I ordered to-go, and the delivery was quick. I tried the three-meat plate. The ribs, turkey, and brisket were tender. The brisket was cut with the fat, but it was on the dry side both times I tried it. The servings of the meat were enough for me to share. I always have the...read full review

Uncle Johnnie’s BBQ is a restaurant that has received mixed but mostly positive feedback. The service is often described as great, with staff who are clean, personable, friendly, and welcoming. The atmosphere is great and not busy at all, especially after church. Customers have tried several dishes. The stuff turkey leg was dry, the sausage looked like it had cooked this morning and left in some type of juice, and the greens were very very salty. The potato salad was very good, and the pound cake was excellent. The meatloaf plate had dry meat but good potatos. The three-meat plate had ribs, turkey, and brisket that were tender, but the brisket was on the dry side. The beans and mac/cheese were decent. The oxtails were tender but a little dry. All the meat was well seasoned, just a slight bit salty. There are plenty of desserts for the sweet tooth, and an additional menu on weekends. The rib tips were so tender they practically melted, and the mac and cheese was creamy and well-balanced. The baked beans were a little too sweet. The flavor, portions, and food were good. The staff was wonderful, patient, and considerate of mobility. The restrooms were clean. Overall, it is a place to recommend again.
