0/5 No one here and was quoted 35 minutes for pizza?
A pizza place pizza cannot take 35 minutes to produce pizza.
Steak is chewy — and should not be served hot on a SALAD.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Addendum: the quality of dressing and protein on the salads has declined significantly.

Moved to NWA 2 years ago and came back into town and was craving a salad from here. We always talk about how we wish there was a ZAZA there. The ice was out and no napkins.. I noticed the method of ordering was different, but didn’t expect it to take over 25 minutes to get my salad. It seemed like 15 people with to go orders walked out in that time and to go was priority. When I did get it, it was HALF the size they used to be… their full bowl is the size of what the half used to be. I was in shock. The steak also tasted funky. So sad. 😭

I have always loved Zazas. It’s has been a neighborhood staple for going on 10 years for me. Every experience I have had in the past year included poor service, long wait times on food (even during not as busy hours), and a more recent change, limited options on portion sizes. I am also very disappointed in their prices. Today I ordered one salad with chicken (the size of a side salad) and one drink (no ice provided for drinks today) which cost $20 and I waited over 30 minutes for that salad. Then it was wrong when I received it and I had to ask for them to fix it. Looking around the restaurant today - it was nowhere near full - but about 8 tables - and not a single person had food. This business is not worth the time or money anymore, especially considering the complaints mentioned. It saddens me to say I will be avoiding this place as much as possible.

I love Zazas and have come here for years, however, I’ve noticed the quality go down unfortunately. Prices have gone up and you get significantly less food than before. I remember when I used to come in a get a caesar salad and you’d get A LOt. enough to even take some home! now, the salad looks a lot smaller and the ingredients were just meh. :( service was great as well as atmosphere! we also got a pizza and it took quite a while to come out. i feel like things used to run extremely smoothly so i don’t know what has changed!

Love this place! Love the Food!
Incredibly disappointed in the price hike AND the shortage of ingredients to accompany it ~ very little cheese and zero rosemary and zero basil ~ maybe because I picked it up and wouldn't notice until I got home?

ZAZA Fine Salad + Wood Oven Pizza Co. is one of the most popular casual dining spots in Little Rock, especially if you’re craving wood-fired pizza, fresh salads, and a relaxed neighborhood vibe.
From the moment you walk in, ZAZA has a unique, slightly different setup compared to traditional restaurants. You order at the counter, grab a number, and your food is brought to your table. It can feel a bit confusing on your first visit, but once you understand the flow, it works pretty smoothly.
The highlight of ZAZA is definitely the food. Their wood-fired pizzas are thin, slightly charred, and packed with flavor—many people say they’re among the best in Little Rock. The ingredients taste fresh, and the combinations are creative without being overwhelming.
The salads are another standout. They’re made right in front of you with a wide variety of toppings, and they’re generous in size. If you’re looking for something lighter, this is a great option.
And you absolutely shouldn’t leave without trying the gelato—it’s creamy, rich, and often mentioned as a must-have dessert.
In terms of atmosphere, ZAZA has a casual, modern feel with indoor and outdoor seating. It’s a great place for families, casual dates, or even a quick lunch with friends. The location in the Hillcrest area adds to its charm.
That said, it’s not perfect. Some customers mention inconsistent service or longer wait times, especially during busy hours. Others note that pizzas can occasionally vary in texture (like being a bit soft in the center), though the flavor is still strong.
⭐ Overall
ZAZA is a solid choice if you want high-quality pizza, fresh salads, and a laid-back dining experience. While service can sometimes be hit or miss, the food quality keeps people coming back.

We waited 20 minutes for salad on Thursday night.. over 1hour & 25 minutes for pizza (one pizza was served after 45 minutes & they forgot to make another one 😔) This was our favorite place to eat pizza but never coming back again as service is going down over the years. The lady at gelato counter didn’t know the ingredients when we asked for it because of allergy.
