“Founded in 1962, the Jackrabbit is one of the older establishments on Highway 70 spanning from Arizona to North Carolina. And it’s certainly a mainstay in Lonoke, Arkansas. Warning: CASH ONLY. With only $9 in my pocket, I had to curtail my order bit when they wouldn’t accept my Visa.

There’s no indoor seating, just an old-school walk up window. So take your order to go or eat it in your car. The catfish is exceptional, ULTRA crispy and tender. The chicken strips are equally delicious, crispy and very fresh!

Expect a long wait. Even with a mere three cars in the parking lot, it’ll take a good 20 minutes to receive a singular catfish filet. But the wait is totally worth it!”

“Pretty decent little pizza joint. Price for what you get is honestly not bad for what you get nowadays. Food is done well and wait times are good. Phone is slow to answer sometimes but be patient. They will getvyou, they just might be in back working on food. An easy repeat place”

“We visited this Waffle House in Lonoke Ar. today, 7/2/2022. The cook “Stephen” was the ONLY ONE DOING ANYTHING. The manager and district manager were both there plus, several young people. Stephen was cooking, stocking and greeting, great personality. The rest of the crew were talking, playing and having a big time. Stephen deserves many accolades for his work ethics. Our food was great and he made sure we were happy with our order. As as manager/supervisor of several C Stores in Ms. I would have had to replace all except Stephen. Fantastic worker.”

“Not the prettiest subway. It's soda fountain isnt standard. And there's an awful whistle sound anytime someone walks inside the building. But I had a young person make the most conscientious sandwich I've ever had at a subway here, and I want to reward their effort.”
