Food was fantastic. Service was top notch. We had steak and the blackened redfish- both were excellent. Too full for dessert- but did get carrot cake to go, and that was a great idea. Thank you.

The blackened ribeye was exceptional and really enjoyed the grumpy mule beverage. The entire staff took great care of us continuing to exceed our expectations!

This restaurant is wonderful. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant itself is beautiful and my kids loved watching the goldfish while we waited. We really appreciated how kid-friendly everyone was. The owner told us some of the local history and culture, like how they have four goldfish hatcheries in town. Overall an excellent experience, I highly recommend this place!

The food is out of this world good! Sandwiches are large and made properly, not overstuffed. Good portion of hand cut fries, well seasoned. The blackened red fish was delicious, served on top of cheddar grits with a crawfish tomato sauce. Well made cocktails, balanced and not overpoured. Trivia night was a blast! Will definitely be back.

Tasty entrees in a relaxing atmosphere tucked away in a small town. If passing through be sure to stop by for a delicious meal. EAT DESSERT FIRST!

I had the ribeye and it had good flavor but it was a little tough. The food overall wasn't bad at all, I just had higher expectations.

The is a diamond in the Rough. Quite an unexpected surprised. I’m from Fort Worth and I pride myself on great food and healthy living. This was both in the Goldfish capital. Locally sourced meats, which was definitely noticeable, and flavor in every bite. Kid and family friendly. Kind and knowledgeable staff, which is ready to tell you the story of how they came to be. It’s a must try. Save me a seat. I’ll be back , that’s for sure

Excellent service. Great food. This is not a typical small town restaurant where the value is rated in $$ per pound. It's worth a bit of a drive to experience.

Unexpected in all the right ways …cocktails were great, food was elevated and executed to perfection (blackened red fish), and the building/decorating were high end surprises! If you find yourself in the area this is a must try

Despite its name, each person we interacted with at the Grumpy Rabbit was kind, welcoming and informative about the restaurant as well as surrounding area. The food was fresh, delicious, well prepared and well presented. (We enjoyed catfish, meatloaf and by far the best carot cake we have ever had). They had a steady stream of local customers as well as those of us just traveling through (it is less than 2 miles from the highway and well wortha visit). Thank you for a fabulous meal!
