Got the 2 meat BBQ plates. I got meaty and we'll seasoned pork ribs and sliced brisket. No sauce needed, they were excellent. My wife got pulled pork and brisket, which were also excellent. We chatted with Sam on the way out, he was impressed we were from Arizona and liked his cooking.

We have gone to the Hickory Creek location a couple times and also got take out for the boat. It’s always been good. Earlier the service was a bit slow but I think they have that worked out.

We stopped In on a Saturday night. Staff were very friendly and attentive. There were several items on the menu that were sold out. Our selections were okay. Fried mushrooms were a little undercooked and homemade chips were a little over cooked. Everything else was good. The best part though was the pie! Don’t pass on the pie!
Thursday was special meat loaf dinner night, never try to miss the Thursdays. But, everything I ever had was great. The fries are fresh cut even, which I love. Fresh potato's hard to find today.

My wife and I stopped in to pick up a couple of burgers. She had a cheeseburger and fries with everything on it, and I had a chiliburger with fries. We also got a BBQ rib just to try one. Both burgers were excellent. Hit the spot perfectly. My wife LOVED the rib. She said it was the best she's ever had. I felt like it was okay, but wish the rub had more spice in it. Will definitely add this place to the rotation.
