We really enjoyed eating at Wood’s Riverbend Restaurant. It’s a really great, locally owned restaurant with a fun atmosphere and a great river view. My fried catfish lunch special was delicious. My wife had the hamburger steak which was also great. Our server was very friendly and attentive. A really good lunch experience.
This place is an excellent stop in Arkansas on the way home for BBQ. My mother and I both ordered the pulled pork sandwich basket. It was tender and delicious. I wish they had beef brisket too. We also got dessert and split a peanut butter pie and coffee. Our waitress seemed new and the pie came out looking like baby vomit as I think they heated the whip cream with the pie in the microwave. The presentation for the dessert was terrible which is why I took off a star, you shouldn’t...
Food was really good. View was great. They don’t have ashtrays on the back porch, but they do allow smoking outside, so you would want to sit inside if you don’t like the smell of cigarette smoke with your meal.
