It was my first time stepping through the door, but knew this place and was at home instantly. And one bite was all it took to understand why they have been in operation for over 100 years.

There is just something deliciously addictive about this joint's barbecue sandwiches! If I happen to be in the area during mid-morning, I make a point to call-in an order. I always agree to have slaw added to my two sandwiches. What a tasty treat!

Good was good. Our party of six all had the pulled pork sandwiches with slaw. The meat was cooked to perfection and served on regular bread. Price was really affordable. Ambiance was exactly what I expected from the many times I have read about the place. Service was great. Two gentlemen making and serving the sandwiches from an order window. This place has been on my "to try" list for several years. I am glad that I finally made it to eat here and was a very enjoyable experience.
