“First time here tonight with my husband. I was very impressed that they sent the dishwasher to the store to get me some sour cream instead of telling me that they didn't have it. That's the first time that's happened to me at any restaurant. I didn't know that until she brought me my baked potato (The only thing on the menu I could eat right now) That's customer care and excellent customer service! Thanks!”

“These folks made an incredible protein salad bowl for me! The bathrooms and dining area were spotless, and there was plenty of room to sit and enjoy a fresh meal.
Two things really stood out:
1. The woman behind the counter treated every guest like family—warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind.
2. The condiment station was fully stocked with everything you could need—oil, mayo, utensils, salt, pepper, straws—you name it.

“My first visit here and I am impressed. The food was phenomenal and very tasty; order the medium spicy if you like food on the spicy side. Regan was friendly, courteous, and took the time to explain the menu to us; he also kept our wine glasses full. The atmosphere was cozy and a fantastic place for a first date. Absolutely will be back soon!!”

“Coffee corner is such a gem. I commute from Vilonia area to Little Rock every day. It’s a very easy “side quest” from 40/430 and it’s less than a 5 minute detour (so, there’s no reason to stop at a crappy “chain” for convenience purposes). The coffee is absolutely top tier, the pastries are to die for, and the customer service is second to none. They actually called me after I left with my last to go order there to tell me they realized they made a mistake with it (for which I honestly had no idea, I thought the coffee was absolutely perfect 😂), and they insisted they were refunding my order. They are a little joy in my day and they deserve all the business they can get.”

“✨ Local Favorite Shout-Out ✨ Stopped by Mike’s Place tonight and ended up having the best unexpected evening. I missed a networking event (it’s next week 😄), so I sat at the bar—and I’m so glad I did. Huge shout-out to Drew, who not only did an excellent job as bartender but also helps run the Facebook page. Friendly, welcoming, and great service all around. I enjoyed the salmon dip special along with a couple glasses of wine—absolutely perfect. “As a local BigBack I have searched forever for a good local bakery. BMB is the PERFECT spot. Ive been 3 times now and here is my conclusion: Its that place that you see them eat at in a Hallmark movie and just sigh. This small shop feels like stepping into a different time and place. Each day they have a different assortment of tarts and pastries in the display more beautiful and delicious than the day before. You can buy entire loaves of sourdough bread baked fresh by hand the day before. Each visit you are greeted by the same two faces (one can only assume to be the owners and chefs). Have brunch and walk out loaded down with sweet treats and loaves of bread for later. Today my husband ordered a Muffuletta sandwich that required him to unhinge his jaw just to bite. After the first bite he sent me back to order two more sandwiches to take home for later. To say that you can taste the actual love in every bit of food is an understatement. We do not live near the bakery but are willing to make the 40 minute drive once a week to restock our home with bread that taste as if its from the Old Country iykyk I would upload pictures of what we got but the food did not make it that far. Do yourself a favor and just pop in sometime. It is super reasonably priced, you can afford it. Will be requesting that they cater my every upcoming event.”

“Everything is delicious! My favorites are the pulled pork, riblets, catfish, fried okra, baked beans, and their homemade pork rinds! The slaw is unlike any other, and I recommend a bottle of their sauce. My love affair with the Hog Pen extends beyond 20 years! It's the best of the best in town ;)”

“Sorry to say that yesterday was my first time in this place, wow wow wow! If your granny could cook….I bet she didn’t cook as good as Hollys Country Cookin . I don’t eat pinto beans…I ate hers, they were the first thing gone! I don’t eat non jiffy cornbread…I ate every bite of her old fashioned jalapeño cornbread, country fried potatoes were delicious, and so was the cabbage, both thighs were southern fried perfection, I was in a complete food coma after this meal. I have been a chef for 23 years and no stranger to growing up eating these dishes, but they are rarely this good all at the same time! we will definitely be back to support this outstanding place. Hats off!!!”
