“Had Smokin Joe’s for the first time last nite at band rehearsal and I was speechless. The absolute BEST jalapeño poppers and collards I have ever had! The brisket & pulled pork was divine. And the sauces & pimento cheese… oh my! I can’t wait to make the drive to McCrory for more!! 5 stars!! Thank you.“

“I've been going to this sonic on and off for many years and there have been many times my food has been more than just messed up. Sometimes it's been so greasy or old I can't even eat it, and I usually don't realize until I'm home. But there have also been times that I've gotten great food from here that is fresh and tastes amazing. I've noticed they mess up their side dishes alot more often then the other foods, but they usually never mess up the ice creams or drinks! And the people working their are almost always very nice. So overall, I would say the place is a 3 or 4 out of 5. Just check your food before you go“
