While on our road trip out west we found this gem. WHAT A FIND! Got some carne asada tacos to go. It came with some chips and salsa. Holy cow! The meat was so tender and marinated so well! The salsa was money too! The chips were crispy, but not as salted as I would like for my taste. The outside of the place doesn't do the inside or the food justice. If you're a local or passing through, get yourself some of this delicious food! More Ortega's please!
Overall the food is good. There is not as much seasoning for my taste, but I like the laid-back atmosphere and the reasonable prices. The food was very hot and fresh. I really liked the chicken/steak fajitas with all the fixins!

Looked for a stop off I-40 and stumbled upon this place. The lunch menu items were remakably cheap for a lot of food.This was a very friendly place that seemed to have a lot of regulars.The service was great!
