“Amazing ambiance ! We watch the squirrels on the squirrel swings, the hummingbirds and chipmunks while we dine on perfect fried chicken, with all the fixings. Buffet is substantial and all was delicious. Chicken tenders, green beans, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes , okra, ham and beans, and my favorite chicken and dumplings-so good, or my other favorite fried catfish and yummy cornbread, or my other favorite blackberry cobbler. Service is excellent too. Restaurant is very clean. We come a few times a year when visiting Mtn View. Never disappoints. Ask for a table near the windows. The entire restaurant is surrounded by windows.“

“Staff could have been friendlier but they were very busy. This is a place where you order at the counter but then, when ready, your order is delivered to your table. The food was very good and was freshly made to order. The atmosphere is rustic. I had a little trouble with my chair as the chairs are solid wood and very heavy but I managed. An older person may have a real difficulty trying to seat themselves here due to the heaviness of the chairs.“
