Cary’s Grill & Bar is a hidden gem for real Arkansas food. The atmosphere is great, laid-back, and roomy with TVs at all angles, plus a bar. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent. Do not let the outside fool you; the restaurant is beautiful and well kept inside. The food is delicious, with generous portions. The fried chicken is seasoned perfectly with a crispy, golden crust and juicy on the inside. The soul food sides, like turnip greens and homemade cornbread, taste just like they came straight out of Grandma’s kitchen. The seafood Alfredo with blackened fish is rich, creamy, and loaded with flavor. One of the biggest burgers uses real ground beef, served hot and juicy. The chicken fried steak has perfect breading, and the potatoes are on point. The 2 PC fried catfish dinner with mac and cheese, fried okra, and a roll is hot and fresh. For dessert, the peach cobbler is great. Soul Food Sunday is an absolute must. Whether craving comfort food, seafood, or a great local spot, you won’t leave hungry or disappointed.
