I enjoyed myself, the food was flavorful and the helpings are generous. I ordered white bean chili served with cornbread, a side salad and a side of some of the best grilled mushrooms I've eaten. The wait staff are some great down to earth people. Very friendly. I'll definitely go back again.
Just wanted to thank the staff. I was there at the end of August for lunch with my mom when I got the call from my vet that I would have to put my cat down. I immediately started breaking down after we had already gotten our food. The server took notice and asked if I was okay. When it came time to check out, they said our meals were on the house. I'm down in the area for four weeks of training with no chow hall, so I decided to try this hole in the wall for dinner. Great food (so far I've had the tuna steak sandwich, chicken fried steak platter, and the reuben w/ corned beef; yes I'm going back to try more), great service, and really cool atmosphere.
