Just wanted to thank the staff. I was there at the end of August for lunch with my mom when I got the call from my vet that I would have to put my cat down. I'm down in the area for four weeks of training with no chow hall, so I decided to try this hole in the wall for dinner. Great food (so far I've had the tuna steak sandwich, chicken fried steak platter, and the reuben w/ corned beef; yes I'm going back to try more), great service, and really cool atmosphere.
This is more of a seat yourself situation restaurant. We were served quickly with water when we were greeted and then looked briskly over the menu. We chose the onion rings for our app, the bonsai nachos for entree, and the chicken tenders with sweat potato fries. The onion rings came out very fast with the waiter telling us not to expect anything else to come out quickly… that was odd to say but ok. The onion rings were bland and flavorless and needed some kind of dipping sauce...
