This is great southern cooking. Attentive and helpful staff (two of the owners today). Generous portions at a good price.

We landed here after church. The food was ready and delicious. The service was great. We initially planned to take it to go but decided to dine in at the last second. They were gracious and accommodating. Absolutely no complaints from me

I normally don't go out to lunch but found out about this place that's close to work from a beautician.

Today was my first time visiting Magnolia Skillet. I was greeted with a warm welcome . The staff members were friendly and it was very clean inside. The food was exceptional. The food had that southern taste and seasoned just right. I had the fried chicken with rice, black eyed peas, candy yams and cornbread. I’m looking forward to trying other menu items very some.

My friend and I visited this place for the first time yesterday. We were a little late in meeting up so we didn't have much time to eat until they closed. We were served ample amount of food as the other reviews stated. Because we arrived late, some of the options were not available. I asked if I could have the rice with the oxtail sauce on it (the oxtails were sold out). Mannn!!! The best decision I could have made! It was so delicious! I shared some with my friend. She loved it as well. I wish I could have tried the oxtails bc that sauce was everything! I was also a huge fan of the meatloaf...just the way I like meatloaf cooked!
They never rushed us to leave although it was nearing their closing time. At that time was when it was further confirmed that we had selected the best restaurant to eat...the manager approached our table to tell us that we don't have to leave; however, they begin serving the homeless after the business closes. That touched my heart so much! ? Like clockwork, several homeless citizens began coming in, ordering their food, and sitting down to have a wholesome meal out of the heat. Many blessings to this business! I look forward to supporting this business again.

Today was my first time eating at this establishment. The hype from all of the comments was ?% the truth!! I got the dressing and greens. My daughter got the oxtails. The food, the customer service, the prices, didn't disappoint!! The baby was even opening the door for the customers. This place is so underrated. People, please go out and support this establishment!
