I visited Tomβs Fish Market in North Little Rock today. I placed my order with Tomβs daughter, who was very polite and helpful. After paying for my food and receiving my ticket, I stepped outside to wait in my car. About 15 minutes later, I returned to pick up my order.
While standing at the counter, I accidentally threw away my ticket along with some napkins without realizing it. When I explained the situation, Tom immediately responded, βNo ticket, no food,β even after I told him I had already paid. He then began speaking in another language. His daughter came out, and when he asked if I had paid, she confirmed that I had ordered the crispy fish.
I received my food and went back to my car, but when I returned briefly to grab more napkins, Tom continued to be rude. I mentioned that I am a frequent customer and did not appreciate how I was being treated. At that point, he called me a racial slur. I was shocked and asked him to repeat what he said, and he then told me to leave.
As a longtime customer, I was extremely disappointed and hurt by this experience. No customer should ever be treated with disrespect or subjected to racist language. I will not be returning.
I ordered a 4pc catfish fillet and I got food poisoning. Also the fish was fried too hard! I do not recommend eating here!
Very fresh fish at Tom's. My brother always get the buffalo ribsππ He always get it raw and I take my 87 year old Aunt for the fish plate on the other side!! Really good ππ
The rib buffalo is amazing !!
You must tell them to fry the fish crunchy. I only received 4 slices of dill pickle chips, a catfish steaks were small but good. The fries was hotter than the fish. Then get a lot of business.Because there's not a lot of restaurants in the area. The neighbors don't have a big selection of restaurants to choose from so eat fish from here.
Great catfish!!
Always, Hot, Fresh, and Good.
The best buffalo ribs in town hands down
Fish fried to perfection. Okra seemed old. Hushpuppies wasn't bad. Bread was fresh, but they dint give enough pickles and onions for a large fish order. Order cane with 10 pieces, I had 3 snack meals with it. Food was finished 8 mins like promised. Wish they had fish only as an option. Dinners are only option.
Definitely recommended!!

Cat Fish Buffalo Ribs.... Bustin
Fish was fresh and looked really good the people were very helpful and accommodating to me with what I wanted.
Pleasant people
Fish was cut up nice.
Interesting fish market located in North Little Rock. It has two sections, one where they sell cooked fish and meals and another side where they sell fresh cleaned fish like catfish and buffalo. The cooked side seemed busy and people were waiting and kept coming to get plates. The fresh side was busy as well and they were sold out of some fish. The prices seemed reasonable too. The building and area in general could use a clean up but it was still a good market.
Good fresh fish
