The adage "looks can be deceiving" certainly applies in this case, as the establishment's name suggests a soulful dining experience, but the food lacks any semblance of soul. Furthermore, the side dish contained an excessive amount of noodles and uncooked red hamburger meat. At a cost of $6.99, the food's taste does not match its appearance. The cornbread was also disappointing. I will post photographs to support my claims. If the establishment can improve its culinary offerings to match the expectations set by its name, "Soul Good," I may consider returning. However, until then, I cannot recommend this establishment. It is misleading to name a business "Soul Food" if the food does not reflect the dedication and effort that should go into creating authentic soul food. I asked for apple pie, the server asked the lady In back if they had that option twice but lady shrugged her shoulders saying she didn’t know so the server said they didn’t, I guess the lady In back didn’t feel like preparing the apple pie. My debit card only works by tapping but I saw the cashier trying to insert card, so I asked her if the tapping worked. She replied “if it worked I would have been using it”!!! Terrible service!!!

I love Walkers. They are the best to go to in Central Arkansas if you are craving traditional southern comfort foods... look no further. Some Sundays, they have excellent chittlins. They are amazing and if you are a real finally they need is hot sauce and hot water cornbread (all of which is available. Close your eyes and taste and it takes you back to those good family dinners at big mama's house.

Food was overpriced for sure! I’ve had way better tasting soul food at Golden Corral. To be honest, I’ve had better tasting soul food at the Chinese place. Their customer base must be old faithfuls cuz they can’t get my money ever again. I had to wait 30 minutes at least to order and my food was ice cold. I started it the moment I got to my car. The only part I liked was the cornbread that I paid extra for two of. And it was ice cold Jiffy too. Fell apart before I could get to it. Spare yourself or just go somewhere else. I was going to try a desert but they had too much going on. It’s hidden in a back corner. They’re yelling at you from three people over you. Nope. I can’t go there again. Better luck to the next person that tries it. I got two chicken legs, cabbage that was unseasoned and veggies with the weirdest canned cheese on it. I gave them a twenty dollar bill and got $3.42 cents back. I don’t mind spending my money for good food any day of the week. But that was horrific.

My husband and I were passing through on work trip and decided to give Walkers a try we LOVED the food. Absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned and nice portions. True home cooking!! 10 out of 10!!!! We ordered fried chicken, fried pork chops, Mac and cheese, green beans, yams, dressing, banana pudding & pond cake! This food is cooked the old fashioned way, fresh ingredients and outstanding flavor. The service was quick and fast. Loved every bite!!!

The food used to be so good here, but the one older lady gives the burnt meat at the end of the day and I guess she was saving the good stuff to take home! $50 worth of trash bc that's where it all went. We don't eat burnt meat so I am not sure why it was served. She intentionally skipped over the good pieces ! I'm glad she is not normally at the front. It'll be a while before I come back. I eat out 15-30 times per week and I want what I pay for!!!!!
