The property is beautifully unique and historic, creating a wonderful atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The food was spectacular. For appetizers, we loved the shrimp, scallops, lamb chops, and the heirloom tomato and burrata. Our entrees—mushroom chicken cutlets, pan-seared halibut, Chilean sea bass, and the seafood pot pie—were stunning in presentation and absolutely delicious. We finished the night with a wonderful chocolate birthday cake, ice cream, and macarons. Between the live music, elite hospitality, and exquisite food, it was an unforgettable night. “It was so peaceful! We stayed here in March and it was one a day when it wasn't cold. It was warm enough to swim and walk around the woods and down by the lake. And there were hardly any otjer guests so it was like a private vacation. I expect you don't have that luxury in the summer as the place fills in and becomes crowded. I'll definitely be back!”

The remaining toppings we ordered on the side. Wouldn’t get them again. \n\nHowever, Jeremy, our server, was so polite, kind, understanding, and on top of things. Our entire group couldn’t stop talking about him and we made sure to let him know as well. If only every server could be like him!”

I don't know what to say about the food, I'm not an expert on Mexican food. I found it too salty, too oily and burnt. I had the Quesadilla with Birria. My husband and son said their food was ok. We chose the signature dishes from the menu.”

“UPDATE: There are few things that separate great establishments from over the top. Buffalo Bar is one of the exceptional places. We understand that things always happen and it’s easy to be great when things go smoothly. How a business reacts when challenges inevitably arise determines which rise to the top. Buffalo Bar has risen to the top. We spoke to the owner today after last nights challenge and the situation has been more than rectified. Wonderful customer service and the standard of hospitality. We arrived at 6pm, sat just over an hour later. They have a sunset ceremony that slows things down. We waited so long (over an hour and a half) for our food that we had them box to go. We ate our anniversary dinner out of Togo plates in the room. We were told that “there was a large party upstairs that had everything moving slower”. If that’s the case, don’t seat anyone else. Very disappointed to spend the time and money for a special occasion here only to have a large party cause us to wait an excessive time and eat our food in the room. Definitely a wasted evening.”
