Excellent breakfast! They whipped up some fresh sausage gravy for the biscuits when they had run out. The biscuits were fluffy. The pancakes had a lovely crispiness. The bacon had great flavor. The eggs were perfectly cooked to order. The hash browns were just ok, though. They were very kind and offered a few tourist recommendations. We're coming back before we leave town!

We were traveling to Branson for spring break and spent the afternoon at Top of the Rock and found this little gem of a diner afterwards. We ordered some breakfast and dessert items and everything was fantastic. The strawberry shortcake was our top pick.

Stopped here to eat lunch/breakfast while on vacation nearby. Portions were good sized, everyone said their food was good. The French toast was the best I’ve ever had. If you find yourself nearby you should definitely stop.

I judge every cafe by how good their biscuits are. Charlies is a favorite of mine. Id choose to eat their breakfast before i went anywhere else. (Their biscuits are the best too)

First you gotta know that you better bring CASH, or be prepared to write a check if you don't want to spend 3 to 5 dollars using their ATM trying to get money off your card to pay for your meal. As I was told, it costs money for them to run credit/debit cards, and they make money when you use their ATM. Was told this by the dear man waiting on my husband and I.It's a quaint little place.Obviously a local hub for the elder men in town to come visit daily. The food is okay.Good cold air-conditioning*It's clean.

Food was good and the staff was friendly. I think this is at the moment the only place around.

I love Charlie's! It is the best place to have breakfast. I don't eat them, but I don't have a single friend who doesn't order fried pickles when we go in.

Looking for a good place to eat after touring top of the rocks and found Charlie’s , we were vacationing in Branson recently. We’ve eaten at other restaurants in Branson. But always enjoy the small mom and pop places. Good food and good prices. I love talking to local people. More laid back environment.

This little place (emphasis little) is off the beaten path. We only went there due to the overcrowding in Branson and it was "on the way home" kinda. First it's cash only - be prepared. The breakfast was good. The meat filled omelet is substantial and comes with hash browns and toast or biscuit and gravy. The haystack has two huge hotcakes. I ordered the tenderloin breakfast. I'm guessing they had to substitute the breaded boneless pork chop for it. The coffee is pretty good and served in large mugs, a plus. Still, it seems to be a locals place. If your adventuresome swing by, they'll fill you up.
