Absolutely excellent!! Oysters were fresh and tasty, etueffe was authentic, full of crawfish and delicious. If you did not know better you might drive right past until uou notice a completely full parking lot. Don't expect fancy but don't miss the food, service and the experience.

We've been to Cajun Cafe twice now. I waited to review because I hoped our 1st experience was a one time thing. It wasn't. First time, we arrived around 5:30 pm and waited nearly an hour and a half for a table. Once seated, the waitress took our order. It took awhile to get our drinks (water) and food. The food was good, not great. The desserts were a bit less than good. The waitress never returned to refill our drinks or ask if everything was okay. She was not friendly or attentive. About 2 months later, yesterday, we were in the area again and thought we'd give them another try. We had another person with us who had never been here. We were seated right away. The same waitress as before took our order. Drinks and food came out quickly. The Etouffee was good, (again, not great), as was the blackened catfish. The boiled crawfish for one was just edible. It's a generous 3 1/2 lbs. More than the adult man with us could finish alone. The problem was most of it was overcooked and hard to peel. It was very rubbery. We expected more from a place known for crawfish. Again, our waitress was not friendly or attentive. We had to stop her and ask for drink refills. After bringing our food out, the only time she voluntarily stopped at our table was to drop off the check. We've given them two chances and decided we're done. We really wanted to like this place, but sadly, won't be back.

If you like overcooked shrimps with poo then you will like this place. I’ve had many seafood boils in my life but this was the worst one. So lazy to not remove the guts from shrimps. Looks like I will make my own at home. Would not recommend. For reference, this in review of their food truck. Have never been to the actual restaurant location. But whoever runs the food truck, needs to learn.
