Taco Rio Reviews
Much thanks and gratitude to Taco Rio. They quickly prepared a large Taco dinner for our Lake City family who was impacted by Tornados this week. We made a quick stop at the hospital for another Tornado warning and the food was still warm when they got there. We love supporting local and Christian’s businesses and we are grateful for their help keeping our family fed! Lots of happy hungry faces when we delivered the meal. Thank you Taco Rio!
Great food and great service!
The food is awful. Taste like it came out of a can. I got the taco plate that came with refried beans, salad and cheese dip. Everything on the plate was cold, including the refried beans and the taco meat. The cheese dip was cold. I can’t confirm this, but I believe they’re making cheese dip from Campbell’s cheese soup. Apparently the people who loved this place have no idea what real Mexican food taste like. This is not even TexMex!

Taco Rio offers a unique dining experience with its signature chicken nachos, which are highly recommended without any modifications. The restaurant is known for its fresh and consistent food, although the service and music selection have received mixed reviews from customers. Despite these minor issues, Taco Rio maintains a reasonable pricing structure and continues to be a reliable choice for Mexican cuisine.
The restaurant is praised for its fast and efficient service, with customers particularly impressed by the accuracy of their order, even compared to larger fast-food chains. The taco burgers are a specialty and are described as great, while the atmosphere is calm, quiet, and relaxing.
Taco Rio has also demonstrated its community involvement, quickly preparing a large taco dinner for a family impacted by a tornado, ensuring the food was still warm when it was delivered. This act of kindness has earned the restaurant praise and gratitude from the local community.
While the vegetarian options are limited to salads and refried beans, they are reported to be good. The restaurant is also family-oriented, with picnic tables available outside for customers.
