A beautiful view of the river and area below. This restaurant sits on the highest area in Arkansas, Mount Magazine. The restaurant is located inside a lodge. We both agreed we need to return and stay at the Mount Magazine Lodge.
The breakfast portion was very large (easily enough for 2), delicious, and very reasonably priced. The dining area was clean and matched the lodge theme very well - plus, it has great views!
I have enjoyed the great atmosphere and delicious food on several visits over the past 10 years. The most recent visit was multiple meals as part of a three day stay at the park. Each one was delicious. The servers were friendly and efficient. One night the service was slow, but I learned later the kitchen staff was overwhelmed. Understandable on the 4th of July with a lot of park visitors. Prices were reasonable, particularly when you consider it is a remote state park...
