Friendly staff best food in town looking for home cooking that brings back childhood memories this is the place. All food cooked to the order. Give them a try you will be happy you did!!

This place is such a treat! It's got an old school breakfast menu that's fantastic, and the portions are huge. It really stands out in comparison to the shrinkflation we've been seeing from so many other places. If you're looking for a new breakfast dive to try, check it out! I recommend the ham steak. They're huge and cooked just right. Also, the staff was friendly and patient with all the questions we were asking because we hadn't been there before. Just a really solid establishment, 10/10!

I tried one more time and no improvement. I ordered liver and onions for take out. Got home and it's so burnt you can not eat it. Liver is dry and hard. The chicken fried steak dinner wasn't much better. It was way over cooked too. Like eating beef jerky. It all went in the trash. Thanks for wasting my money. I won't be that stupid again.

Update, back for same meal 3 weeks later but had the outstanding biscuits and white gravy!! —- Our first time, we had the 7.95 breakfast special that was generous servings of eggs, bacon, the must try country potatoes and toast or biscuit. It was all amazing. Some of the prior reviews were over critical. This is a small town family business, monitor your expectations. The other customers including a large family were very happy.

They need to take off the ribs and smoke meat off the menu since according to them they don't have them anymore. Between that, and them never being open when they are suppose to, I am done trying to eat at this place!

Had the best chicken fried steak and gravy with mashed poatatoes, baked beans and Texas fried toast that I’ve had in a long time. It was the real deal!!! My husband tried the pancakes I had read about and they were huge and tasted sooo good and yes I tasted his dinner too. lol Also my grandson gives the kids grilled cheese and mac ‘n cheese 5 stars!!! We have full bellies and can I just say how nice it is to get such friendly service! For desert the chocolate fried pie and that my friends speaks for itself!!! Definitely reminds me of some of the good ole home cookings spots back home. 💗

We were greeted with employee just sitting around rolling silverware. No one gave us a proper greeting just looked over at our direction ans continued what they were doing. My husband went to the "desk" to order a sweet tea and we sat wherever. I (very pregnant with twins) took off my coat and sat down. I got my tea which was not great and almost $5 to boot. Then my husband sat down we began to look over the menu. My husband gasp and said don't move but there's a roach crawling on your coat. I flipped out and grabbed my coat tossing away the bug. There was no way we were going to eat at this place. We told the nice older lady and her response was " oh yeah. We just sprayed so they're out running around"... what?! Who would spray poison during operating hours and still accept customers into their tainted roach infested "establishment"?! I was beyond disgusted and so was my husband we paid for the $5 tea that I took one tiny sip of and never returned. This place should be shut down. I typically understand that bugs can be annoying issue in restaurants (I'm fron FL) but who tells their customers this and why would you "spray" and still remain open. I will never understand why people would eat here, let alone return.
