We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Local Lime and overall really enjoyed it. The food was amazing, and the ambience was warm and inviting.
That said, we had a very odd service moment. Our server mentioned she’d bring us a dessert for our anniversary, but after we paid the bill she disappeared. When we finally got up to leave, she returned with something, said hi to us as we walked by, and then took the dessert back into the kitchen since we weren’t at the table anymore. It was just a strange, awkward ending to an otherwise great meal.
We’d still recommend Local Lime for the food and vibe, but I hope the team can tighten up the follow-through on special occasions.

There are meals you eat because you’re hungry… and there are meals that remind you life is meant to be savored. Local Lime gave us one of those moments today.
Kyle greeted us with the kind of service you don’t see much anymore — not rushed, not scripted, just genuinely present. And when the food came out, it felt like the kitchen took the same care.
My wife ordered the Queso Cinco Enchiladas, and the first thing you notice is the heat rising off that golden crust — five cheeses melted into a creamy, bubbling blanket over roasted chiles and warm tortillas. It’s the kind of dish that makes you pause before the first bite because someone in the back poured real heart into it.
I ordered the Chargrilled Ribeye Tacos. Tender steak, a clean sear, seasoning that doesn’t try too hard, and sides that tasted fresh instead of forgotten. And the Heirloom Margaritas… cold, balanced, and made with respect for the glass they were poured into.
We didn’t just eat — we slowed down. We talked. We appreciated the moment. And that’s what good food is supposed to do. Local Lime earned every bit of today’s bill, and then some.
We’ll be back — not out of habit, but because it gave us something worth returning to.

I got the cheese enchiladas. It is 3 mini corn tortilla with cheese and then a side of rice that is small. All for $18. Yes it was good but not even free chips and salsa so I will be going to Abuelos for these peisses.

On November 9, 2025, around 1:15 PM, I placed a food order at the bar with a blonde bartender. I clearly requested that my meal contain no spicy ingredients, including the corn.
Around 1:33 PM, I politely asked co-bartender to check on my corn, and she abruptly replied, “Just to let you know, it takes 10 minutes to make the corn,” before walking away. Meanwhile, two other parties seated near me—who ordered after I did—received their meals before mine.
When my order finally arrived, it included spicy garnish. I informed the food runner that I had specifically requested no spicy garnish. Shortly after, another bartender with dark hair approached me and said, “Just to let you know, the corn has a spicy garnish.” I explained again that this was exactly what I had asked the bartender who took our order to omit from the corn.
What was most disappointing was overhearing the dark-haired bartender speak negatively about me to her co-bartender within earshot. This behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful.
I was looking forward to a pleasant experience, but the poor service, sour faces from both bartenders and lack of courtesy from both made it extremely disappointing. I will be sharing this experience with my friends, family, and neighbors.
Opportunity for improvement is highly recommended. Guests should be greeted with a smile and not sour nor unhappy faces from your bartenders.

Amazing spot for a drink, app or dinner. Jackie, Demi and Jake are the best and always make sure I am well taken care of. Service at the bar is always timely and my experience has never been anything short of great! Great spot and highly recommend!
