Food and service were excellent! We will definitely be back.
Small place, but very friendly atmosphere. The staff is very attentive. The margaritas are delicious and their cheese dip is very yummy! My favorite is the tacos de pastor! My fave Mexican place in town.
We were there on a Saturday evening and it was packed. The service was slow, but not surprising due to the crowd. The place isn't huge, so the noise level was bad! Worse than Texas Roadhouse, LOL! But the food was worth the wait, and worth the noise. It was incredible. I had the Burritos Ouchita, and they were crazy good. The guacamole is also excellent. I'll be back, just not on a weekend.

Casa Royal is a classic Mexican restaurant with a neighborhood grill atmosphere. The food is incredible, with large portions and great prices. The best fresh chips and salsa are made in-house, and the guacamole is excellent. The Burritos Ouchita and Enchiladas ximena come highly recommended. The staff is very friendly and service is prompt, making guests feel genuinely welcome. The place isn't huge, so the noise level can be bad on a packed Saturday evening, with slow service due to the crowd. However, the food is worth the wait and the noise. It is the best Mexican food in Hot Springs, with a family-like atmosphere, and is a great place to watch the game or hang out with friends and family.
