We have been going to Old South since we moved to Dardanelle Arkansas 2 years ago. We went when the restaurant was located on East Main St in Russellville Arkansas before it burnt down. Now the new restaurant is located on E Harrelle Dr. In Russellville Arkansas. The owners are exceptional and the food and the service is outstanding. Good food good service and good prices. I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed. Tell them Mike and Gail Sent you.God Bless ?Vegetarian options: You can order a vegetable dishParking: Handy cap parking in front.Oversize parking lotKid-friendliness: They offer a kids menu. Kid friendly for sure.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room for a wheelchair
12n meal after drive up from Little Rock for an appt & great reviews about Old South were on the money! Place was bustling but were seated immediately. Our server Christie was a pleasure, as were all staff. Fried green tomatoes were hot & delish & out super quick, as were the good house salads & huge Fried Pork Chop & Chicken Fried Steak with perfectly seasoned white gravy? We'll definitely come back next time we're anywhere near Russellville!

Had chicken fried chicken with broccoli salad. It was great! The chicken was so juicy and not dry like other places. Also had the liver and onions, and it was also delicious.First time trying OPossum Pie, and i wish i lived here so i can have it more often. Ryleigh was a great server. So amiable and helpful.

I ate at the old restaurant when I was a kid and while I miss that historic building, it is nice to have a larger restaurant with more staff and parking. My favorite foods are breakfast with biscuits and gravy, steak salad (of course Old South dressing) and chicken fried chicken. I've never had bad service, usually really great. I try not to go at the busiest times because it's still super popular and busyWheelchair accessibility: Several disabled parking in front. No automatic door but usually the hostess will run over to open it if they see you
I would give them out of a 5 star rating a 10. The food was a good as what I would cook at home if not even better. Do not get me wrong I am a great cook so this days a lot. Breakfast was so good we went back for dinner. Dinner was the same, we are going back for breakfast and probably dinner again tomorrow. I highly recommend this place if you stay in Russellville AR

We were excited when we read the other reviews here to try this restaurant. Overall we were all disappointed with our food.
2nd time visiting this restaurant and the experience and hospitality made me want to move to Russellville. I read online that it was worth coming on Friday or Saturday for the prime rib dinner and I have to say I completely agree. The food was top notch! Adrianna my server was hilarious in a good way. And very attentive. I asked about the opossum pie lol. The rest of the staff was also full of hospitality. Thanks!

Everything everyone ordered from the menu was so good!
Logan Percival cleaned my dishes the worst way, there was something green inside my cup after I drank my Dr pepper. He also testified that there's poor management in the restaurant.
Our little waiter wasn't very prompt. Perhaps she was spreading herself too thin. The food was good home cooking style.Parking: Plenty of parking at the front of the restaurant.
