This place is awesome! The most unique restaurant I've ever been to. We arrived around 7 and had to wait about an hour for our food but we ordered a really large meal. (3 half buckets) And had to wait about an hour. They close at 8 but they let us eat and everything while they were closing!The only issue I had with anything was the lack of utensils to open the crab legs with! They provided scissors but they didn't work that well.
So I went here after the eclipse + hiking Taylor Bend and found that traffic was still backed up.This is definitely going to be one of the most unforgettable experiences.The staff are friendly, good food, but hands down one of the most countrified places I've ever seen, which as a southerner myself I find charming, although if you're not from the South you may not be ready for this ?Definitely give this place a stop though.

The seafood here was phenomenal! I'm pretty sure we were the last order of the day. We had the Snow Crab Legs and shrimp bucket, and the frog legs. It was so good and worth the wait!

Went for the eclipse. Great food and atmosphere with lots to look at in the antique shop amlnd outside while you wait for great jambalaya and gumbo, froglegs, and gator. Thanks for a great time Billy. Hope to be back some day!

Both the gumbo and shrimp were fantastic! Shrimp was very very fresh. A tad slow but the food is cooked after ordering so worth the wait! Indoor and outdoor seating with the indoor also having an antique/flea market shop.

Worst experience!! They took over an hour and a half to get our food and the guy was rude and bothered because we complained about why our food was taking too long. Not to mentioned that he went and took it out on my daughter thinking my daughter was me. The shrimp was over cooked and that was terrible food and terrible customer service.

Extremely eclectic decor. Very imaginative food was good. It’s not fast food so it takes a little longer, but was worth the wait.
Best seafood we had in a long time. Well worth the wait as our food came out piping hot and absolutely delicious. Shrimp was super fresh and the crawpuppies were amazing We will be back!

Unusual fare in remote location. Came with a large group and called ahead. We sat in a group area with smelly trash can from the previous night. My gator burger was so so. Catfish was decent but a bit greasy. I heard the barbecue was good.Service did the best they could with a single line order system. The wait was long and not at all good for anyone handicapped You were called when your order was ready. Staff was friendly.
