He frequented Waffle Houses for over 45 years. Some were better than others, but most were good and the food was good. I think they get a bad reputation from people as more of a joke than in reality. Most people actually admit they like the food.
As for this location on Beebe-Capps in Searcy… this is one of the nicer stores that I have visited… and the food is top notch. Their omelettes rival and many times exceed those you get in high end restaurants. My new...read full review

Waffle House is a new and very clean restaurant in town. The store is immaculately clean and tidy. Service experiences vary. Some staff are friendly and helpful, with servers praised as the best crew. On one visit, a waitress quickly offered to make a salad as a side instead of hash browns. The young man at the grill did a very good job on dinners and kept his area clean. Customers have sat down immediately and received food in five minutes, which was amazing. However, other experiences note mediocre service where staff can be distracted, leaving an empty iced tea unfilled for a long time. That tea was also described as very weak. The hash browns and eggs are perfect. Overall, it is a fine place. Many customers plan to return and encourage others to visit this Waffle House.
