I needed a cake last minute for a birthday party and they got me in so fast and made my custom cake that day for me!! It is also the best looking cake I have ever seen made !!! 1000/10 recommend!!! They are such sweet people and they also make the best chai teas!!!

This place is absolutely incredible. Simple, clean, and cozy interior with recent seating added. I wish I’d taken pictures of what I ordered, because it was divine, but I only had time to get home and make my favorite cup of tea before the sweets were gone. Their chocolate chip strawberry scones were definitely made with fresh strawberries, and I know this is the best scone I’ve ever bought; it was buttery and crumbly and perfect. It’s the scone I dream about, and I can’t wait to come back for more flavor combinations. The vanilla cupcakes with vanilla buttercream and a caramel drizzle were also a slam dunk; perfect crumb, it was really light and fluffy while holding up exactly the way you’d hope for. The chocolate cupcakes with chocolate buttercream and fun sprinkles had the perfect balance between richness and lightness. While they are still working on getting the rest of their drinks menu in (I can totally appreciate having a work in progress!), the baked goods themselves will keep bringing me back. I’d love to try their cheesecakes; everything in the dessert case was presented beautifully and with skill. The ownership also had a lot of heart and were very kind. Can’t wait to come back!

There are not enough kind words to describe these folks. I visit them often and even though I go there to get (the best) baked goods, I always leave having a better day. This family is so lovely and special, I hope to see them continue to grow and expand more- true gems of Siloam.

My husband ordered a dairy free chocolate cake with buttercream for me for my birthday, and The Downtown Bakery made the MOST incredible cake for us! The buttercream frosting was so yummy but not overly sweet. The chocolate cake was so rich and delicious. I’m sure it was a challenge to make this dairy free, but it was some of the best cake we have EVER had. A huge thank you to Joy for making this special cake for us! (Also the little roses on the side and the pearls are such a gorgeous detail! These pictures do not do it justice.) It was such a special birthday treat. This will be our go-to bakery for all our needs moving forward!

My coworker got some cupcakes and cookies for us for Harry Potters birthday and the cupcake I ate was delicious!! It had this lemon syrup thing that you pour on the cake and it was awesome!

I loved this small little bakery! They had some gluten free options which really surprised me! They took cross contamination seriously too and I didn't react!

Small town homey feel in every respect. The unique creations are not only visually pleasing but a flavor experience.The Buckeye Brownie transported me back to childhood & home. The CremeBrulee Muffin took me to fine dining experiences & decadent desserts. I cannot wait to go again and try something new. Definitely will be my got to bakery for a quick treat, special occasions, events & family gatherings.
