“My cousins and I visited the café on Broadway just before Thanksgiving last year. We were in Saloam Springs visiting another cousin. I had the chicken almond Panini, and it was absolutely the best I have ever had. The atmosphere is perfect. What a delight to find this cafe.”

“My cousin, sister & I stopped to grab coffee while we stopped in Fayetteville, AR to just explore for the day. The coffee was amazing, our server was amazing (I think her name was Jocelyn), we asked her about places to visit and she shared a few with us then came back a little while later with a list of more. “It's a comfortable little donut shop with the tried and true recipes given to Asian run donut shops. They have a drive through, but I like to go inside and say Hi to the lady running the cash register. She even took the time to make a custom breakfast sandwich for me because I don't like cheese.”

Mexican food fans, this is the real deal, authentic, traditional Mexican food. It is a very small restaurant. How small? Well, my car would not fit in the dining area. How small? There is a refrigerator by the bathroom. The refrigerator door and the bathroom door cannot be open at the same time. There are 5 table/booths. There is no English spoken here. Drinks are limited to Mexican Cokes, those other colorful sugary drinks in a bottle, and bottled water. Thankfully, I know how to say in weird sounding Spanish, “dos aquas.”

No chips and salsa on the menu. A torta for my wife and a burrito for me. Both packed with fresh grilled chopped carne asada. My burrito had some seasoned rice, much more meat than rice, though. The guy working the cash register delivered both meals to the table, then returned with the plastic squirt bottles of very good salsa.

An enjoyable tasty dining experience. Eat authentic Mexican food here.

“Arrived about 9 am today, and they were just putting out the warm breads. The lady at the register told us to help ourselves to any of the bread that was being pulled out.
Not a huge selection, and I forgot to ask about tamales, but the bread was fresh and delicious. It's definitely a great place to buy fresh Mexican bread.”

“First Cup This morning I had my first cup of this day at the Ground Floor Café on the beautiful campus of John Brown University. El Socorro Honey Maracaturra from Guatemala. A delicate, sweetly tart with juicy, high-toned acidity..., a lively cup indeed. Here is the description from Olympia Coffee. “Honey Processing leaves a bit of coffee cherry intact after pulping, skipping fermentation altogether and allowing the coffee cherry's natural sugars to marinate into the bean while sun drying. The result is a lush, fruiter version of what is already one of Guatemala’s greatest coffees.” Olympia Coffee. To be crystal clear, it is my earnest opinion that there is not a better place in our immediate territory for a finer cup of coffee than the Ground Floor. The staff are simply the best.
