Last few times the food hasn’t been good. Today I got a #1 spicey. The chicken strips were burnt. They even tasted liked they’d been over cooked. They had been setting out awhile because the meat had started turning brown. Plus, they weren’t even warm. This place has really gone downhill.

Okay I showed up 10 minutes before they close but I only ordered 2-4piece tender meals. The girl on the speaker says "I only have spicy and I ain't cooking no more" with an attitude like I'm doing something wrong and I doubt the girl taking orders is cooking also, but I said "ok I'll take spicy then" . Another voice comes on the speaker and says "I'm sorry I only have enough for one of those meals". So 10 minutes before closing you only have 4 pieces of chicken for sale. Why not just close at 9:50 if that's going to be the work ethic for the place. I guess you just have to get lucky to get freshly cooked chicken not under the heat lamp. I used to eat there twice a week I avoided the fish because it was always overcooked at this particular store but the chicken was fair. Now they ain't getting anymore of my money. There's nothing worse than someone getting an attitude with you over a drive thru speaker. Since I'm not going back I should have told them what I thought about their work ethic and attitude. Every other chicken express restaurant I've been to had wonderful attitudes and was pleasant to order from. So don't take this review for any other store. The others are always pleasant to me.

I ordered 4 chicken strips and my husband a 3 piece, it took 45 min to get it. The bin was full of chicken. When we got our food it was cold. We were traveling back to TX. And just went with it.

I always like to get the liver dinner since they opened on Arkansas Blvd. It has been worth going back for. Today the livers were spicy hot and different than before. If I wanted spicy, I would get Mexican or Cajun food. Little disappointed.
