“Places like this are a rare and wonderful find. The food taste as if my granny cooked it. Prices and portions were spot on. Coffee was perfect. I had the chicken fried steak with green beans and mac n cheese. You also get a basket with rolls and cornbread. Wish I didn't live 3.5hrs away cause I would come all the time.“

“I’ve gone each day of the week to try multiple specials and it is good every single time. Reminds me so much of my mom’s cooking. That hot water cornbread is like handheld grits — crispy on the outside but slightly creamy on the inside. Love their sides: black-eyed peas, cabbage, greens, pintos. I’m super mad at myself for just giving them a try a few weeks ago.“
