“Bayou Deli & Casserole is an example of a classic hole in the wall with exemplary food, service, and an extremely clean interior & kitchen. The menu is robust with every kind of Cajun sandwich you can imagine, along with their one remaining casserole, chicken spaghetti. The staff is very friendly, & everything is made to order. The sandwiches below were very filling for lunch and hit the spot on the tail end of a beautiful June day

“Found this restaurant on the Arlington Foodies FB page, I’m upset with myself for waiting so long to try this restaurant out! The food is amazingly delicious! Everything was made to order, fish, shrimp fries and hush puppies were piping hot. There was so much flavor in every bite. I ordered the 2 whole catfish with a side salad and coleslaw the salad was so fresh. You could tell it was also prepared at the time of order, tomatoes weren’t water logged or soggy. My husband ordered fish and shrimp with hush puppies and fries, everything was well seasoned & delicious. For dessert we shared the peanut butter cake, it was the perfect amount of sweet. The family that runs it was so kind and friendly. The service they provided just made me love this spot even more, not to mention the owner brought out a basket of fresh gizzards after hearing me mention how excited I was to see gizzards on the menu. This will be our new seafood spot! Oh and whatever they dust the food with is amazing, it needs to be bottled and sold lol“
