My family met to have my birthday dinner last night and it was such a great experience. The food, service and atmosphere were great. We had reservations for 20 but that number increased and the restaurant made the changes with ease and insured we all had room to celebrate. I couldn’t have asked for better food and service. Our waitress was very patient with our sometimes disorderly group! She made sure we had everything we needed with ease. I would highly recommend dining at Pops Place for small or large groups.
Friday night at 6pm, got in quick and sat with Megan at the bar, best dinner experience in Texarkana!!!! 👏👏👏👏 BOH…. Yall are killing it, thank you sooo much!!! We’ll see y’all for lunch!!

We came in and ate dinner! Among our party we had burgers, shrimp (boiled and chilled), charbroiled oysters, and the large ribeye steak! It was all delicious and the service from Maddie C was fantastic! She was attentive, friendly, and never allowed our drinks to run low.

Fantastic food! Had the smoked boudin for appetizer and MAN was it good! Service was friendly amd prompt only issue with entire experience is large part of the establishment is not air conditioned! In SW Arkansas in the summer, that is NOT a good thing. But bar area has A/C so I just sat in there. Highly recommend stopping by of you get the chance. The ribeye was of-the-charts!!

Live brass band, Texarkana Jazz Orchestra plays there regularly. Really good food, service is a little slow, but that is completely ok due to the number of people. We weren't there just for the service. Date night turned out to be great night. Steak was awesome with the Pops Fatass Ribeye.

The steaks are mesquite grilled and the best in Texarkana. It's very casual. Don't let the outside fool you. It's really good! We'd just like more variety on the menu.

Service was bad. Guy in charge was very crappy. Demeaning, and down right Passive. I got 2 plates of food to feed two people. One order was missing the whole order of fries, we went back, showed the receipt and the guy basically said it was probably already eaten..... No buddy, your staff was not paying attention and did not full fil the order. Got back to the car after getting fries, notice 2 of my order of 4 fish were not there either. Guy said you worked hard for that didn't you
Sir your unsolicited comments show you are a pathetic person. Yes we worked hard for the money that we paid by choice to your restraunt. We want what we paid for. Nothing more nothing less.
You will be the reason this business will lose customers. Congrats. You've already lost my family of 12, and more than likely their friends as well. We are a big, close community. Yea I know it doesn't affect you now. But it will. Mark this review, it will happen.
