We celebrated a good friendJay’s birthday at Redwoods Grill & Bar recently and it was our first time to visit and try out the flavors. We gave it 5 stars as the staff was friendly and helpful. The menu had various items to chose... from steak to fish and many other tasty entrees . The shrimp kabobs was my favorite and we was served delicious cheese cake for my friends birthday special dessert! There were also beer on tap as well as awesome mixed drinks and margaritas ....top shelf premium was the choice we made and we were not disappointed. As a Brand Promoter I suggest this delightful , family friendly and quaint establishment for a Friday night on the town, a birthday party, girls night out....heck any night. The food is excellent ?!!!

This was the first visit for me and my husband. It was just ok. The waitress/hostess was very friendly, so that’s always a plus for me. We wanted the lobster dip but couldn’t get it because it wasn’t ready so we got the southwestern egg rolls instead. They were awesome!!! The only other time I have had them was at chili's so I wasn’t very excited about trying them. I am so glad I did. They were the highlight of the meal for both of us. I ordered the ribs because I had seen some reviews that said they were better than Roadhouse. That is not even close to accurate. Mine were extremely tough. I couldn’t even finish them. My sides were loaded garlic mash, which was just ok, and grilled vegetables, which had no flavor. My husband had the half chicken. It was so dry. I knew it was dry just by looking at it. There is no way I would have served that to anyone if I was in the kitchen. I am not a fan of sending food back so we didn’t do that but I was pretty tempted to. So anyway, the egg rolls were the star of the show and I just knew everything else would be great but it was kind of a huge disappointment. So three stars for the friendly employees and egg rolls.

Wow the steak were great. Wife's shrimp was outstanding. Very friendly staff. Only recommendation is to add salad as part of your extras menu. The up charge for salad is not good business in this area.

We went on Sunday at about 7 PM. We saw lots of good reviews about this place so we were excited to try it. We were NOT impressed! The prices seemed high for what you get. There were 3 of us eating and all 3 meals were "fast food" quality. We only saw our server 2 times after we placed our order and one of those was to bring our check. They were not very busy...only 3 tables with customers and a couple of people in the bar area. When we left there were NO employees to be seen anywhere and no one said a word to us. We will probably not be back!

Look if you like ribs you should definitely try them here. But i would suggest just ordering a half rack. Very good!

We were greeted at the door and quickly seated. It took too much time for the server to come to our table. She took our drink order which took a long time to be served. We ordered and waited a long time to get our food. The food was okay, but not good enough for the time we waited. There was a man moving from table to table explaining something, but he never came to our table. When we left, the hostess thanked us for coming, apologized for the wait and invited us back.

First time coming here and will be back! Everyone was super nice and the food was excellent. Try the lobster dip. The chicken on my salad was perfectly cooked, and my brother got the grilled chicken and it was also perfectly cooked with great sides.

I had the grill shrimp with grill vegetables with house mash layer over bed of rice. It was great and the customer service was on point. Everyone from the front of the house to the back were smiling and very attentive to each customers. It was very clean.i will definitely go again. Keep up the great work.

My wife and I tried this place for the first time and it was food was bland and we weren’t impressed by anything. Seemed overpriced for a basic meal and most of it looked like it rolled pita of a frozen bag of food from Walmart…Tarter sauce was nothing more than Mayo…Not a place we plan to visit again.Texarkana Resident

The staff, from management to wait staff to custodians, are incredibly nice. The New York Strip and a Long Island are a good pairing at Redwoods. It's a nice step up from the standard food options in Texarkana.
