Thanksgiving plans cancelled last minute and we found this place. So happy we did. Smelled amazing when we walked in. Great food and the best service we’ve had in a while. Small wait times for things, but not as bad as I thought it would be considering the day and amount of customers. And I highly recommend sitting in Crystal’s section if you go. Not the fanciest place but the food, service and prices ($40.00 for 5 people at breakfast including tip of 20%) were great. Our waitress was pretty much taking care of everyone and running the register (her helper was in the hospital). She was very attentive. We had breakfast (2 specials, oatmeal, French toast and pancakes) and everything was tasty and cooked as requested. The bathroom was clean too. My overeasy eggs were perfectly done. They usually are under or overcooked.

We were pleasantly surprised by this little gem of a restaurant. We were met with the friendliest staff and a wonderful man playing multiple instruments and singing gospel and Christmas songs. The food could have been cooked by my own mom in her kitchen at home. We loved our meal and the atmosphere. This will be a must stop anytime we're in the Van Buren area again.
