Dec 17th, Good lunch, came to see Historic Washington SP. Visited with other couple, enjoyed sharing interests, Thank you buying our lunch, we are blessed. We know Arkansas people are friendly and helpful. ❤️
Ok, so we normally eat here during the holiday event, but this was our first time trying the regular menu. The chicken fried steak was the best I've had in absolutely forever. Crispy, juicy, and the gravy was fantastic. Definitely stop in if you're craving some amazing home cooking.
We went to Washington state park in SW Arkansas for a day trip. We noticed the Tavern across the street from the Visitor Center. So, after a long morning of touring old homestead, we stopped in for a late lunch. And earlier couple had said to get the Chicken Fried steak, and so we did. we shared it along with fried Squash and mashed potatoes with gravy.
