Ray's World Famous BBQ

Ray must not be running this place anymore. This joint used to have the best spare ribs ever..not the same anymore.

The food was HORRIBLE fish wasn't cook all tge way. The sweet tea was SPOILED it had a bad after taste. Ask for tater sauce didn't have any. I was over charged she lied & said taxes.

Drive up only. Food took a while but was hot when we got it. Not as flavorful as I hoped. Meat was mostly tender but sauce was forgettable. Beans had some jalapeños that were a nice add but mostly bland otherwise. Potato salad was pretty good. Not the best Memphis BBQ but it was close to the hotel.

I've eaten here before, a long time ago, and I remembered it being pretty good. Today I had half chicken, which took 20 minutes to get to me. I can only assume this is because they had to heat up yesterday's chicken, considering it was so dry and chewy I couldn't even choke it down. Even the dark meat, which is awfully hard to ruin, was like dry rubber. Maybe it's under new ownership since my last visit, and maybe bbq isn't really their thing anymore.

This place is not the world’s famous Rays Barbecue ANYMORE! The food is terrible and the prices are ridiculous! They have SOLD the old world famous barbecue and the new name is Rays world Famous Barbecue and Mexican TOGO!!! Order catfish fillet with two sides and received 3 small pieces of swai with barbecue spaghetti and potatoes salad for $11.00

It is longer “Rays BBQ” now it’s Raymos. We ordered (2) 3pc catfish plates. First of all it is not catfish it’s Swai fish(shameful) then they took one fillet and sliced it on 3pcs. Never going back

Found you on instagram. Looking forward to visiting next time I’m in the city. I’m going to make a special stop at “ Rays world famous BBQ” . I’m going to make a special request to see if he’ll let me jump on the breaker breaker 1-9 on channel 1-6.

This place is horrible the food is good but the prices is not the service is horrible they barely had anything on the menu and told me my total which wasn’t what my card was charged for just a ZERO RATING FROM ME

OMG! What an amazing BBQ sandwich! The famous one-pounder comes with 2 delicious sides. I chose baked beans & potato salad which were wonderful. Dont be dismayed be the building appearance. Drive thru only. Worth the $15. See pics.

From Chicago and was looking for some bbq this place definitely got tht I-57 Sauce and turkey tips.

No flavor and boiled meat.. not smoked

Ray's BBQ is nothing like it used to be I just got a slice BBQ brisket sandwich from their it had about 4 or 5 thin slices of meat which the meat is some what green I only got coleslaw and sauce on the side but they put it on the plate and it all ran together so I paid $17.42 cents this was a waste of my money so you I'll not be getting my business again
