The food is probably the best soul food from a restaurant I've ever had. It's authentic and tastes just like a plate from your southern grandma's kitchen. However, the guy who prepared the food had zero southern hospitality. But if you cook that well, maybe you don't need it...lol. This is one of those hidden gems that locals love and I'm sure he has a loyal customer base. I've never had better soul food from a restaurant. The butter roll will make you change your religion...lol

Ron's Family Affair Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with a focus on authentic Southern cuisine. The menu features classic dishes like black eyed peas, which are a favorite among regulars. The friendly staff and homemade cooking create a welcoming atmosphere, making it a worthwhile stop for those seeking genuine family-style dining. The restaurant's simple yet flavorful dishes evoke memories of great-grandmother's cooking, providing a taste of traditional Southern hospitality. Portions are generous, and prices are reasonable, ensuring a satisfying meal. Many guests praise the fresh, hot, and delicious food, especially the baked chicken, pinto beans, and greens. The homemade feel is similar to a home-cooked meal, with some dishes like smothered pork chops being so tender they can be cut with a fork. The turnip greens, cornbread, and candied sweet potatoes often surpass expectations, offering a taste reminiscent of family favorites. The atmosphere may need a little updating, but the quality of the food keeps visitors coming back. Overall, Ron's Family Affair Restaurant is a great spot for those craving authentic Southern flavors at a good price, with meals comparable to fast food but far better in taste and quality.
