“We had a late lunch here and the food was wonderful! I had shrimp tacos, and others ordered chile rellanos and chixken and steak enchiladas. Good flavors all around! It's a small building next to and behind the Rock Shop in Benson. Staff was friendly and quick with our orders. Highly recommend!”

“During my Rocherster friends' visits to Tucson each winter, my husband, my friends and I always make it a point to eat at least two or three times (if not more) at the Horseshoe Cafe. We all love the friendly staff and great service we get there, but we especially love the BBQ ribs. Their beef and green chili burritos, corn chowder and chicken fried steak are also excellent. We highly recommend this historical restaurant if you want a quiet, relaxing, tasty meal. As a bonus, their bathrooms are always clean and well stocked.”

“We stopped on our way to Tombstone and loved it. So filling, delicious and made to order! They have delicious homemade food! Their muffins are yummy and come hot out of the oven. Very homey atmosphere too. If you are going through this area, it is a must stop.”

“We had a wonderful experience at the Mescal Bar and Grille. Rosa was very welcoming and inviting! Even though we came 10 minutes before the kitchen closed we were welcomed on Xmas eve to have a meal. We met some great community new neighbors Larry (the joker) and Sue (J6). “I am very disappointed that I'm writing this review however, my experience was horrible. Not only was the service horrible but the waitresses attitude was as bad as the food. We placed an order which she messed up twice, and when I requested it to be corrected on the check she said, we'll you ate it so you have to pay for it. I'm sorry but what I ordered is not what she wrote on the check. Furthermore we are not psychic so we had no idea how the food should have looked based on we we ordered vs what arrived to the table. Another waitress corrected the check but that experience caused me to NOT want to return. Worse is everyone who ate there got sick. My food smelt like canned cat food every time I went to take a bite and luckily I only took 2 bites the rest went in the trash. My mother ordered a bean and cheese burrito which smelt like tuna fish. My father had a taco bowl that started out having ground beef but then the bottom turned into something that looked and smelled like tuna fish and he spent all last night puking and diarrhea, so we are suspecting they got food poisoning. $60 to be thrown in the trash and to ge sick. sorry but we will NEVER eat here again and if you're passing through I suggest you drive on in to Tucson or Willcox for your dining needs. I will say this though, my 1st experience here was fantastic. We were served by the owners and he and his wife provided excellent customer service and our food was amazing but this last experience cost them my business. Sad because Benson doesn't have much to offer to begin with, but I'll be taking my money elsewhere.”

“We travel and eat all over the country. Hands down the best breakfast burrito we have had, in a very long time. Homemade tortillas packed full with fresh ingredients.

The staff is very polite and it was a very welcoming experience.

We now have a must stop spot when traveling through to Phoenix or back to Texas!

“We have visited twice and gotten a booth. The food is made in the kitchen, not reheated Cisco crap. Service is a little slow but worth the wait. Generous portions too, so not a bad price. They were out of stuff on a Tuesday night, but we will forgive them for that as they had two great desserts.”

“Found this delightful bakery quite by accident but what i would have missed!! Lemon bars, key lime pie, cinnamon rolls, and sinfully delicious Black Forest Cake to name a few. Unfortunately I was just visiting your wonderful town and have moved on but I hope the locals are a huge supporter of this fine establishment along with the other stores of Benson. What a great place!!!”

“Very good food, got the new pretzel crust, and it was pretty good. Lots of food for what you are paying for. It is about the same quality as any other little ceasers, so not amazing but you get what you pay for. Also got the Philly cheese steak pizza and that was pretty good as well. Order was ready within 15 minutes of ordering, so they definitely did amazing there!”
