if you are really hungry and need food now; this is THE PLACE to be.
A nice little restaurant in the middle of nowhere; actually the town of Why, AZ. I had an excellent carne asada burrito which was cooked to perfection, The tortilla was ever so slightly burnt which I really enjoy.
This places food, atmoshpere, and service was top notch. Very friendly and help full staff and the beans are the best beans ive ever had we bought a pint to take with us. We will go back for the beans alone 🤣. This place is fantastic. Email me the recipe for the beans if anyone has it 🤣🤣

Granny's Kitchen serves up good food with amazing service, even when busy. This authentic Mexican restaurant is a hidden gem, popular with locals and visitors alike. The charming spot, while older in appearance, maintains a clean atmosphere and has plenty of seating. Guests can enjoy delicious breakfast dishes like Chilaquiles, Huevos Rancheros, and the flavorful eggs & chorizo. The food quality stands out, with options like the tasty carne asada burrito for lunch. Despite some recent slow service due to only one waitress managing the busy restaurant, the friendly staff adds to the experience. Many visitors appreciate the delightful atmosphere, enhanced by fun decorations like various chicken statues made from ceramics and other materials. Granny's is a highly recommended stop, especially for those returning from Rocky Point, with many looking forward to returning and trying more on the menu, including the mole sauce. The restaurant's hours can be a bit unusual, so checking before visiting is advised.
