Had dinner a few days ago with my family here and man was the service amazing! Everyone was friendly and very welcoming, including the owners (Michael & Kelly)! Positive vibes and don't get me started on how delicious the brisket and ribs were! The sweet sauce goes perfect on the ribs! Cheese Curds are amazing! Never had cheese curds this good before! Drinks were served on time etc. Love this place! I will be coming back!

I got the pulled pork bbq sandwich today with a side of fries, it was delicious not dry at all and was very filling. I will go again soon to try out different menu items as I was very pleased. Service was awesome was scared to go because of the previous reviews but I'm glad I did go as it was very delicious.

My husband and I were super excited to try this location. We are regulars at the cave creek location and when we heard this location opened up right by our home we couldn't wait to go. Unfortunately the few times we have gone they have been out of Mac and cheese, out of ribs and numerous other items. My husband love the Ribs but they were very rubbery every time he got them there and my brisket came out looking like dried up roast beef. We sat for a while before anyone helped us. With there only being one table in the place? Then when we think was the manager ( older gray hair lady) came by to take or drink orders and never brought them. She was to concerned about side work being done, as we listened to her complaining to the server about things she need to do before she left work. When another server approached us and asked us if we'd been helped 5 mins after the other, she stated the lady forgot about us!!! Wish it would have been as good as the main restaurant. Will not be going back.

Food was extremely overpriced. Service was poor. Now it's closed due to staffing issues. Save your money.

I just ordered some food to go, this was my first time here and I couldn't decide on what I wanted so Emily helped me figure it out. I ended up with cheese curds, burnt ends, brisket, Mac and cheese and some chicken. Go big or go home I suppose. So I went big then went home and I can't tell what I enjoyed more. I've never had brisket or burnt ends like that. Phenomenal!!! Only thing I wish I would of done differently was had some beers while I was there chatting with Emily who waited on me and then Kelly the owner. Both were very sweet. Next time for sure beers!! Not one to normally write reviews but need to take care of good local places like this that are family owed. See you next time!

I'm in love. The brisket grilled cheese is phenomenal. Burnt ends melt like butter. Sweet bbq is my favorite.

My son asked to have dinner here because he loves BBQ. He loved his pulled pork grilled cheese, my daughter loved her ribs. My onion rings were over cooked and hard to eat. The fried okra was amazing. Super excited they had it. The macaroni and cheese was delicious. Every meat is smoked including the burger. I can't eat smoked things because it triggers migraines. I figured the hamburger was my safest bet. The smoke flavor was so strong I had a hard time eating it. I get that it's not their fault that it causes me problems, I was just hoping for something not smoked. It was ok. The staff was so kind and our server was seriously the sweetest. Not sure I'll be back again as I'll have to medicate before I do.

Great family atmosphere. You can smell the smoker. Always a good sign. Great menu selection. A little bit of everything. KC BBQ foundation. Friendly helpful service. Ordered combo plate. Smoked sausage. Burnt ends. Mac n cheese and brisket baked beans. Sausage, Brisket beans and burnt ends were amazing. Mac N Cheese was good. Overall great experience for a road warrior. I will be back again when I'm in town.

This was our second time eating here and had a very different experience from our first visit that was fabulous (about 3 weeks ago). Most recently, it took three attempts to get drinks correct, the macaroni and cheese was frozen (we get it, stuff happens), and the brisket, when finally served, was awful. It was dry and required a knife to cut (first visit, it was so tender and flavorful and only required a fork to cut). When we asked, the only staff person working out front, why the brisket was so different, he told us there was nothing wrong with it and walked away. We understand issues of finding good employees and things happening in the kitchen, but this entire experience was awful and for the money that was spent, we had expected more. Not sure we will go back or recommend.

We had a late lunch today. Service was outstanding but the brisket was very dry. For the price, we expected more. For $19, we received four thin strips. This restaurant is very nice ... we will try again.

Staff was friendly and informative, food was delicious for sure. I have been here a couple of times and the food has always knocked it out of the park. Help keep them open, and give them a visit. Full of flavor.

Terrible experience. Ordered online and husband went to pick up. Quoted 810p order ready, wasn't ready till 830p. Husband came home with our $130 order and it wasn't correct. Missing multiple items. Called them to tell them what we were missing. Hostess/server said she would have it ready when my husband got back. We live 5 min away. 25min later food was ready. My husband said when he came back to pick up missing food the hostess/server asked the kitchen if the order that was sitting for pick up was ours, to which the response was "yes it f***ing is, I told you the kitchen was closed" I'm sorry..... you messed up the order, fix it and be apologetic. So cursing at your coworkers, be a nice human. Defiantly won't be going back. Food was bland and small portions.

If you live in Anthem and haven't been here yet, I suggest you give it a try. Five star barbecue for sure. And if you are interested in comfort food, they have it!. We we had the smoked sausage infused mac & cheese, and it was so creamy and so good. My husband and I felt we could've had that nothing else, and we would've been happy. We ended up splitting a comfort plate with two meat dishes and two sides. It was a good amount of food -- and the burnt ends and smoked sausage were both great. Come in during happy hour, and it's amazing what you can get on their wine menu for very little. Couple that with extremely personal service, and you've got a winner.

Great new addition to Anthem. They now have a liquor license! I've gotta say the burnt ends are the nest. I got the bbq chicken , brisket and burnt ends for a family night. Should have just ordered the burnt ends. They are that good. Try it!

MOUTH WATERING TO SAY THE LEAST!!! We walked and and right from the start the staff and owner was amazing and friendly! LORI was so attentive and helpful with describing the dishes!! There was so many great i options to choose from! So the owner came out with samples of the burnt ends ! OH ....MY..... GAWWWWDDDD..... We had 3 people in our party and we ended up doing the brisket grilled cheese sandwich which was amazing and full of flavor, the burnt ends plate with Mac n cheese and brisket baked beans... and let me say the burnt ends were SO JUICY AND MELTED IN MY MOUTH! Then the baked beans were to die for!!! Lastly, we ordered the fish n chips in standard Friday tradition and that was amazing as well! To top it all off we had a side of the two jumbo cornbreads and they were so moist and soft! I definitely would eat here 7 out of 7 days if the week but I'm sure that wouldn't be too good for my health! LOL I've lived in Texas for years and this food is definitely in my top 5 places I've had. If y'all want great BBQ comfort food , definitely come here! They will treat you right and you'll leave full and satisfied!
