This is a real Japanese experience. I lived in Japan and recently visited. It feels like home here. The sake menu is deep and thoughtful and the menu items are a departure from the usual American/Japanese cuisine of rolls. Highly recommended! I’ve been three night in a row.

Very nice mom and pop vibe. Super cozy and traditional. Best Japanese food I’ve had in Arizona. Flavors were authentic with plenty of different options, and very friendly staff.

Pan fried Gyoza were outstanding, tender on top with a slight crispy bottom, and the sauce was not too salty which I really liked.

We got the teriyaki chicken as a side and it was tender and juicy and the sauce was AMAZING!

My shrimp was good. My wife was not impressed with the lack of flavor of her noodles, veggies and chicken. Could have been more veggies. The big problem was that some people walked in for takeout and their items were cooked before ours. We had to wait 50 minutes before our food. Correction, 40 minutes for mine then another 10 for my wife's. NO apologies or compensation given. We would not go back.
