We had a great time here. Sat at the bar and got to talk with locals, hunters, and travelers alike. The food was good. We got a cheeseburger and a salad with 2 beers apiece (wife and I). The building has amazing history. We are staying at the Preserve here in our rv for next 2 weeks. We will be back. It was enjoyable.

La Gitana was partly responsible for our current move to Arivaca! As you've probably read, it's been around for 80 plus years… and continues to get rave reviews for its food, service, and warm, inviting atmosphere. The few times we visited, the bartenders were college students or recent grads, who enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere and friendly town folks in Arivaca. The cook was a charming young woman who grew up in Arivaca, moved to the big city (Tucson) for a while,...
