Mexican Restaurants in Arivaca, AZ

“We were on a mission. We had our Visit Canoa map in hand and ready to see new places. The first stop was the Canoa Ranch rest area. Our goal was to make it to Arivaca Lake sometime around lunchtime. It was a beautiful drive out to the lake. We saw. We took some pics. We were ready for food. On the way back, we stopped in at La Gitana Cantina. We walked in and were promptly greeted by the bartender/server. The manager was also there and came to our table to visit and fill us in on some history, some menu items, and some refreshing drinks. For us at that moment in time and space-it was first class. The food was good. The drinks cold and refreshing. The atmosphere, imagining the dance hall atmosphere of its day, was comfortable. We will definitely go back to La Gitana.“
